The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru takes a few swirls of the glass to cohere, gaining intensity, pure black cherries and hints of blueberry. It becomes floral in style. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid red berry fruit, fine acidity, taut and fresh, with edgy tannins. I appreciate the energy in this young Vosne-Romanée.
