Domaine Bernard Moreau Chassagne Montrachet Maltroie 2020

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie is promising, offering up aromas of pear, crisp green apple, lime zest, freshly baked bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, it's fleshy but precise, with lively acids and a long, saline finish.

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Maltroye ler Cru offers touches of white flower and dried honey on the nose, gaining intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, quite linear and maybe even conservative towards the finish. Yet it does gain intensity with aeration, so afford this two or three years in bottle.
