Moreau had already bottled the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes to capture its explosive fruit, and the wine is showing very well, bursting with aromas of dried rose petals, peonies, cherries and sweet soil tones. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, open-knit and flavorful, with a crunchy core of fruit.
