The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is developing nicely, wafting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of cherries, raspberries, orange rind, sweet spices and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, it's elegantly fleshy and gourmand, with melting tannins, succulent acids and a gently oak-inflected finish. This is already drinking with style, though it will continue reward a little more patience.

The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes ler Cru, which includes 30% whole bunches, has a perfumed, enticing bouquet of copious red cherries, crushed strawberry and floral, rose petal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. This is a juicy, very pure Chambolle-Musigny with a fine bead of acidity and a touch of salinity brightening up the finish. A delightful wine in the making.
