Domaine Denis Bachelet Cotes du Nuits Villages 2022

The 2022 Côte de Nuits-Villages delivers aromas of wild berries, vine smoke and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and seamless palate, with refined tannins, lively acids and a mouthwatering finish. It's produced from holdings on the slope in the lieu-dit Queue de Hareng in Brochon.

Raised in 25% new oak, the 2022 Cotes de Nuits Villages has plenty of dark berries, black tea, and sous-bois aromas on the nose. There is a real presence here. The medium-bodied palate has slightly grainy tannins, black cherries and raspberry mixed with clove and bay leaf towards its cohesive, quite structured finish. Excellent.
