Dark, concentrated, garnet-red colour with deep purplish highlights reflecting the purity and concentration of grapes ripened by the hot Medoc sun. Complex bouquet of very ripe black fruit, blackcurrant jam, and blackberry reserves as well as empyreumatic aromas of roasted coffee, cocoa, and burnt wood. Starts out generous, full-bodied, and round on the palate. The velvety tannins make this Haut Medoc a very sensuous wine. A slight alcoholic taste brings out the roasted coffee on the finish. This wine is perfect even at this early stage and its structure guarantees a great future.
