The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Murgers ler Cru is actually similar to the Aux Thorey on the nose: quite pixelated with vivacious, mineral-rich red fruit exuding transparency. The palate is well-structured and concentrated, with richer black fruit and firm grip. There's a touch of Asian spice towards the muscular finish (perhaps due to the small berries) - this is a long-term proposition. Fabulous.

More mineral and vibrant than the Thorey, the 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers reveals aromas of sweet red berries, plums, orange zest and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy palate underpinned by a powdery chassis of tannin that gently asserts itself on the finish.
