Domaine Berthaut Gerbet Gevrey Chambertin 2022

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a blend of three parcels, though 50% is Au Cornbe de Dessus. With 20% new oak, it has an attractive wild strawberry and red plum bouquet. Impressive focus. The palate is medium-bodied with finely-tuned tannins, quite vibrant and lively, orange rind and touches of black pepper furnishing the finish. Give this a year or two in bottle.
