The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc Vielle Vignes was picked four days later than the reds on 31 August. It has a lovely lime flower, vanilla pod scented nose with touches of Golden Delicious. The palate is well balanced with a sharp line of acidity, very tensile with sour lemon towards the finish. Very fine.

A terrific effort, the 2020 Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes offers up aromas of pear, hazelnuts and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, taut and chalky palate that's lively and penetrating. A fine value, it's well worth seeking out.
