The 2022 Bourgogne Aligote comes from vines located mainly in the Hautes-Cotes, plus some in Nuits Saint-Georges. Its splendid bouquet articulates the attractiveness of the variety. The palate is well-balanced and steely - no surprise, given that it is raised in stainless steel. There is a nice spicy finish here.

Cathiard's sole white wine is the 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté, made from comparatively young vines in the Hautes-Côtes. It's fermented and matured in tank and sees a short élevage, with bottling the following spring. Medium-bodied, open-knit but tangy, it's evocative of pear, struck match, powdered sugar and fresh herbs.
