The 2019 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru comes from four separate parcels and is matured in 80% new oak. This Pinot Noir has a perfumed bouquet, with crushed rose petal and violets. It is rather plush and very well delineated, quite Mazoyeres in style. The palate is well balanced with lush tannins. This is a luxuriant Charmes-Chambertin, smooth, sensual and very pure. A touch of spiciness towards the finish lingers in the mouth. This is a classy Charmes-Chambertin.

A ripe red introduced by distinctive graphite and juniper aromas, with plum, blackberry and earth notes plying the soft structure. Reveals light tannins, with a long finish marked by a flash of orange peel. Best from 2025 through 2040.
