Layered, with creme de cassis liqueur-like flavors, and moderate tannin lurking beneath the surface, this is a sexy, lush, fragrant 2000. Low acidity and sweet tannin suggest it can be enjoyed now and over the next 12-15 years.

This is a finely structured wine, blending red and black fruits, firm tannins and rich, sweet flavors. There is certainly power, but the essence of this wine is the intensity of the fruit and tannin.
