Gevrey-Chambertin is a structured wine with a good balance. The passage in barrels allows it to gain in flexibility, about 30% of new barrels are added in this cuvée. 2 to 3 years of aging will allow it to soften the tannins and obtain a very supple mouth.

20% whole bunch vinification from Les Seuvrées (80%) plus Les Crais and Champs Chenys. Deep purple black, the bouquet is halfway between the Vosne and the Nuits in style, then easier going on the palate, with a useful fresh acidity. Tasted: November 2020
