Tangy cherry, currant and strawberry flavors are augmented by spice and stone notes in this sinewy red. Hints of game, rose hip and licorice emerge as this evolves through the long finish. Best from 2023 through 2035. 50 cases imported.

Healthy dark red. Reticent, slightly reduced aromas of blueberry, blackberry and mocha suggest a rather strict wine. Densely packed and uncompromisingly dry, but a distinctly elegant style in the context of the vintage. The medicinal berry and spice Gavors are complicated by a light saline element. The least sweet and most obviously structured of these 2015 village wines, this Nuits-Saint-Georges conveys good verve and terroir character. Finishes with serious, ripe tannins and lingering notes of redcurrant and leather.
