Deep purple color. Powerful nose showing sweet fruit and floral notes. Sweeter fruit through the middle then stem-induced peppers at the back. A little bit of darker liquorice too. Interesting, characterful wine.

The product of old vines, sheltered from the wind, 40% whole bunches retained, and two new barrels in five. A little denser in purple colour, some power to the nose but retaining an exciting floral character, sweeter fruit through the middle than stem-induced peppers at the back. A little bit of darker licorice too. Interesting, characterful wine. Tasted: March 2020
