The 2018 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard comes from 30-year-old vines in Anderson Valley and was made with about 27% new oak. Medium ruby-purple, it's scented of dark cherries, blueberries, bergamot and gravel dust with undertones of fir. Medium-bodied, grainy and seamlessly fresh, it offers intense, powerful fruits and a broody streak of graphite on the long finish.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard from the Anderson Valley is another richer, beautifully textured wine from this estate. Built for the cellar, this beauty has some classic bright darker cherry and raspberry-like fruits supported by notions of background oak, scorched earth, and bouquet garni. With bright acidity, medium-bodied richness, and building, firm, yet ripe tannins, it's best forgotten for 2-3 years and is another wine that should have 10-15 years of overall longevity.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard is another stellar wine in this range. It captures the natural exuberance of Anderson Valley with plenty of stylishness. Dark cherry, plum, tobacco, licorice, spice and menthol build into the heady, substantial finish.
