Domaine Pierre Labet Beaune Coucherias Premier Cru 2013
|Appellation||Cote de Beaune|
|Brand||Domaine Pierre Labet|
Wine EnthusiastPacked with red fruits, this wine has great potential, with attractive wild-strawberry fruits that are fresh and perfumed. Behind this fruitiness, the wine is tight and structured. It will be round, rich and ready to drink from 2019.
Wine SpectatorThe woodsy, decaying sweet cherry, truffle, earth and spice aromas are enticing as this red turns firm and tannic, finishing long. If you want to experience the perfume of Burgundy in the whole-cluster style, this has it. Best from 2018 through 2028. 45 cases imported.
Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Beaune 1er Cru Coucherias has a pretty, more feminine bouquet than the Clos du Dessus des Marconnets, with perfumed raspberry and wild berry scents suffused with cold stone notes. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red cherry and cranberry fruit. This has more depth and body than the Clos du Dessus des Marconnets with a lively, sappy finish. Enjoy this over the next two or three years.
