Domaine-Jacques-Frédéric-Mugnier Chambolle Musigny Les Fuées 2011

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

This terroir has one of the stronger personalities of the Chambolle-Musigny Premier Crus. Its bouquet is less floral than the other parts of the village; instead it has a more mineral nuance, more "earthy" than the Chambolle "Village" appellation or Les Amoureuses. The aromatic base note is that of blackberries and blueberries. In the mouth it is well structured, full and rich, the "attack" is very straightforward.

Wine AdvocateThe 2011 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuees feels like a step up from the Village Cru with more precision and intensity: raspberry, rose petals, a hint of wild mushroom and damp undergrowth. The palate is very harmonious and feminine with fine tannins encasing the light, almost tart red fruit. It feels very fresh and lively on the finish, but the aftertaste is long and satisfying. Drink now-2022+.
