Kistler Kistler Vineyard Pinot Noir 2003

SKU C0145

Both our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are crafted utilizing classic Burgundian techniques. Our wines are produced solely by native yeasts. Our barrels are crafted from French oak that is aged to our specifications and specifically tailored to our program. All of our wines are bottled unfiltered and unfined. Kistler Pinot Noir is fermented in small open top fermenters and the free run juice is barrel aged and remains in barrel for fourteen to eighteen months until bottling.

Wine AdvocateThe Burgundian 2003 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard shows a low pH style with high acidity, crisp, red currant, cranberry notes with a hint of rose petal and strawberry. It is Burgundian, medium-bodied, pure, and impressive. It should drink well for up to a decade.

Wine SpectatorCrisp and lively, with tart sour blackberry and wild berry fruit that's trim and narrow. Finishes with a tart burst of fruit.
