Kistler Vineyard Pinot Noir 2002

Kistler Vineyard Pinot Noir 2002

SKU C0144

Very pure blackberry aromas, fresh and well delineated. An extremely harmonious wine displaying more mineral precision than the Hirsch. Very primary today showing the juiciness and fruit intensity of the best burgundies. Finishes extremely long, with the tannins buried under fruit. Delicious now.

Wine AdvocateThe 2002 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard offers wonderful sweet raspberry and cherry fruit with a hint of framboise, a deep plum/ruby/purple color, medium body, and good vibrancy in a medium to full-bodied, feminine style. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

Wine SpectatorOffers a trim yet concentrated band of spicy black cherry, plum and wild berry fruit that's sharply focused and at times shows restraint, yet gains richness and depth. Admirable for its structure. Drink now. 1,660 cases made.
