Aubert Ritchie Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

Aubert Ritchie Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012

SKU C060

Please note the opulence and vibrant hues at the edge of the glass, which are indicative of the health of the wine and clonal material. Initially, I find a blend of freshly squeezed strawberry and red cherry juice. The soil influence abounds in 2012, and expresses sarsaparilla, rose oil and black tea. The palate is rich and pliant, and by my assessment is the most approachable of the 2012 Pinot Noirs in 2014. Suggested drinking window is now until 2025.

Wine AdvocateMade from the Calera clone, the 2012 Pinot Noir Ritchie Vineyard offers up plenty of cola and root beer notes intermixed with black cherry, dusty, loamy soil and foresty nuances. Deep and medium to full-bodied with fresh, lively fruit, it should drink well for 10 + years.
