We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

The "Vigne au Saint" represents the smiling side of the Corton appellation: a wine with depth, but easy-drinking at the same time, and there's a lot of charm. Is that because it faces due south? If the notion of terroir were as easy as that to explain, we'd have heard about it! Anyway, it has charm to spare and conceals with ease its undeniable structure.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Corton la Vigne Au Saint Grand Cru comes from a tiny parcel bouquet in 2009 and constitutes only two barrels. It has a winsome redcurrant and red cherry bouquet that is very precise and charming, perhaps tinged with Vosne-like elegance. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, grippy and structured, quite compact and perhaps at the moment just missing that long tail on the finish. That may fill out with time, so give it 3-4 years after bottling.
