We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Napa Valley wines include up to 15% Napa Valley floor fruit with the remainder of the fruit coming from Howell Mountain. This floor fruit contributes to the wine's softer approach, even though the wines usually can be laid down for 15+ years. The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is usually more approachable at a younger age with it's softer tannins. Whereas, the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is massive in fruit and tannins.

Wine AdvocateThe 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa exhibits classic notes of crème de cassis and forest floor in a rich, chocolaty, well-made, pure style. Dunn is famous for watering back the alcohol levels after picking very ripe, but this wine is beautifully balanced with sweet tannin as well as lots of blue and black fruits that handsomely reflect Napa's strength with this varietal. Drink it over the next 10-15 years as the tannins are slightly more civilized and softer than some of Dunn's ancient vintages.

Wine SpectatorThis version shows a pronounced smoky, toasty oak presence early on and remains very tight and dense throughout, with accents of roasted herb and dried dark berry showing on the finish. Needs time. Best from 2016 through 2024.
