Gosset Grand Brut Rosé
Wine AdvocateThis reliable Champagne house produces a good non-vintage Rose Brut, and this moderately pink-tinged example reveals aromas and flavors of sweet strawberries, bread dough, red currants, and a hint of lavender. Vibrant and youthful, it should drink well for 4-5 years.
Wine SpectatorA round, rich style, with light berry and watermelon flavors reflecting off the vibrant structure. Picks up dough and chalk notes on the finish. Drink now through 2010.
Wine EnthusiastA lot of vanilla and cotton candy on the nose, and that's backed by sweet melon and strawberry flavors. Sweetness is a recurring theme, and although it's lively and has good mouthfeel, it's not as dry as we'd like. Best if you prefer a sweet-dosage style.
