Domaine Laroche Chablis Les Clos 2014
Wine SpectatorThough creamy in texture, good cut keeps this white racy and focused, setting the stage for lemon, apple, white peach and mineral flavors that stretch out on the long finish. Deftly balanced. Best from 2018 through 2027. 625 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos has a detailed bouquet with flint, smoke and light spicy aromas developing in the glass. The palate is clean and fresh with a fine line of acidity, very fine depth and poise, that spicy tincture becoming more pronounced towards the finish. What I appreciate in this Chablis Les Clos is the harmony, perhaps even more than the Les Blanchots. It just glides along and gently fans out, leaving the customer satisfied and demanding more. This is superb.
