Domaine Méo-Camuzet Fixin Clos du Chapitre 2013
|Appellation||Cote de Nuits|
Wine AdvocateRacked three weeks prior to my visit, the 2013 Fixin 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre has a pretty blueberry and black cherry bouquet that is more like a Marsannay than a Fixin. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins and the acidity is nicely controlled here. There is an agreeable aftertaste that lingers: maraschino cherries with a touch of cracked black pepper. This should drink well over the next four or five years.
