Moillard Echezeaux 1985
|Appellation||Cote de Nuits|
Wine SpectatorRich in flavor, highly polished and concentrated, with black cherry, plum, currant, spice, and a lovely touch of oak, put together with subtlety and grace. Power with elegance.
Wine AdvocateThe big, penetrating, persistent aroma of the Echezeaux offers nothing but joyous ripeness and complex Pinot Noir smells. Less full bodied and tannic than either the Corton-Clos du Roi and Nuits St.-Georges Clos de Torey, it is a wine full of elegance and finesse, and should be drunk by 1997.
