Only a few producers use this vineyard, and certainly Ramonet's Ruchottes are standout - often competing with neighboring Grands Crus. It is located East of "La Grande Montagne" or the hill close by, and owes its name to the loose rocks or "Ruchottes" which accumulated from the hill over time. It was the Domaine's first purchase in 1930 and it contains some of the oldest vines in Ramonet's stock; through consistent replanting, this "Ruchottes" is of very high quality, with an opulent texture and perfumy character.

Wine SpectatorSmoky, toasty notes underline the peach and lemon fruit flavors in this broad white, which is a little shy on the finish, where spice accents reign. This should blossom with a little aging. Best from 2017 through 2024. 50 cases imported.
