Our 0.45 hectare parcel of Meursault "Les Perrières" is located in the upper part of the cru and gives dense and vertical wines. The aromas are, above all, mineral and stony but also offer generous complexity with floral notes (white flowers and hawthorne). The palate is concentrated and structured - almost firm. The tension and the persistance, which give this precise mineral character, are impressive. One often must wait five to seven years for this cru to fully express all of its possibilities.

Wine AdvocateTasted blind at the annual "Burgfest" tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrières was a little muffled on the nose compared to its peers, didn't quite get both hands on terroir. The palate is balanced with crisp acidity, a twist of sour lemon on the entry but not quite following it with requisite weight and fruit intensity. Linear, stubborn and a bit withdrawn, hopefully this will come out of its shell with bottle age. Tasted May 2016.
